Collegial Teaching and Learning Course
bioCEED is for the second time offering the teacher course “Collegial Teaching and Learning in STEM Education”  for teacher and education staff from UNIS and the University of Bergen. This course introduces you to current concepts of teaching and learning in higher education in order to develop your ability to improve student learning. The course is focused on discussing pedagogical topics specifically related to STEM teaching and learning and is intended for educators who teach mainly in these subjects. If you have any questions about the course please contact Oddfrid Førland, UIB or Tina Dahl, UNIS. The course start is 24 October, and the course will have 4 sessions during 2016 and 2017.

Norgesuniversitetet: Application deadline for project founding from the Norwegian Agency for Digital Learning in Higher Education (Norgesuniversitetet) 20. October.

This year the topics for project founding are student active learning, digital learning for working life and digital assessment


bioCEED Research Seminar Bergen:

Every Friday from 9-10, the bioCEED Research Group is presenting projects, results, theories, publications or ideas for applications in the bioCEED room on the third floor of the A-blokken, Thormøhlensgate 53. bioCEED colloquiums/seminars UNIS:

Once every month bioCEED at UNIS aim  to have a colloquium or seminar for all employees connected to learning and teaching. The 12 October Professor Mads Forchhammer at AB will present “AB203: connecting the dots in a multidimensional course”. Here he will share his thoughts on how to strengthen the link between the different guest lectures and topics within a course that is embraces a wide range of different topics as well as many guest lectures. Through his presentation he will give some good examples on how he have dealt with this.  Bring your lunch and cup with you! At Kapp Schoultz from 12-12.30
